Munch
Tim composed the music for “Munch” a feature film which follows the life of painter Edvard Munch with the protagonist played by different actors in each of the four chapters of his life.
The film, which was hailed as “Norway’s best film ever” (Subjekt) premiered to sold out audiences on opening night at the Rotterdam Film Festival, followed by a screening in Oslo, after which it was released in select theaters.
Strings and piano are featured throughout Tim’s Music with electronic and guitar-driven ambient soundscapes, juxtaposing soaring lyricism with edgy textures to evoke a feeling of expansiveness but with an undercurrent of unease.
